Alejandra is a Colombian Dentist. Since 2008 she started making personalized cupcakes and cakes as a hobby in Bogota, her hometown. A couple of months after creating her first cupcakes, she received so many orders that she stepped out of the medical world and made her cupcake business official; the Cupcakery House was born.
 

In 2012, her husband was transferred to work in the United States. She had to start from scratch. Her business works by referencing clients, which was challenging initially, but now she is thriving.
